Common Reasons for Breast Revision

Many women come into my Beverly Hills practice every week looking to undergo breast revision surgery. Most of these women desire to change their size to either a smaller or larger appearance. Sometimes it is due to a ruptured implant or because the breast has altered in shape because of a decrease in skin elasticity or the aging process.
However, the majority of patients I see and treat are coming in because their breasts are becoming deformed due to:
Bottoming out: The implant has slipped below the inframammary crease.
Capsular contracture: Internal scar tissue that is constricting the capsule around the implant.
Double bubble: The appearance of two curves or double fold in the breast.
Anatomical deformity: Implants that are not round or rotation occurs.
Below are a few examples of these types of conditions and the outcome from their revision surgery.
These are actual patients, and your results may vary.
