Below are two recent breast augmentation surgery case studies that where performed in Beverly Hills. Both patients are looking to enlarge their breasts; however, to achieve their goals, each received a different type of breast implants.
High Profile Saline
During the consultation, this patient was looking to increase her fullness and enhance her cleavage. After listening to her goals, we agreed to schedule her breast augmentation surgery for the following week.
I selected to use Mentor® smooth saline round high-profile implants to enhance the cleavage’s fullness and enhancement. On the right breast, I selected to use 300 ccs and on the left 310 ccs to slightly correct the balance. I performed a periareolar incision to allow for an optimal breast pocket.
The patient is a few weeks out, and she is extremely happy with the outcome of her breast augmentation.
Moderate Plus Silicone
This patient presents a loss of volume and is looking to increase her fullness in her breast. During the consultation, she explained that she had lost her fullness and wanted to regain her more youthful appearance.During her breast augmentation surgery, we selected Mentor moderate plus with cohesive gel to achieve her desired goal. I selected 405 ccs for both breasts to maintain the symmetry and to create the fullness she wanted. The incision was placed along the lower portion of the areolas, allowing placement of the implant using the dual plane technique.
The patient is two weeks out, and the incision is healing nicely. As you can see, she has achieved excellent fullness and balance.
