Mommy Makeover Beverly Hills Style

In my Beverly Hills practice, I regularly see women looking to get their pre-pregnancy shape back.
Below are three examples of women who have undergone the Mommy Makeover and the type of customizable procedures that can help restore and enhance their body shapes.
Case Study 1:
During the consultation, the patient expressed wanting to improve her midsection and restore breast volume.
After listening to her goals and completing a physical examination, we agreed to perform breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and liposuction.
During the breast augmentation portion, Mentor® round, high-profile saline implants (400 CCs) were placed. Then, a full tummy tuck was performed to improve the abdomen and tighten the muscles. Lastly, liposuction was performed in the hips to enhance the overall body contour.
The post-op photo is six weeks out. The patient is extremely happy with her youthful breasts and overall shape.
Case Study 2:
This patient presented with multiple complaints, including breast dysphoria and grade 2 ptosis of the breast. She also has abdominal wall laxity, vertical midline scarring due to gastric bypass surgery, and a significantly large pannus requiring a panniculectomy, liposculpture of the hips, repositioning of the umbilicus, and repair of an upper epigastric hernia.
Her front views (pre-operatively) show grade 2 ptosis; however, the patient declined a breast lift at this time. Therefore, conservative high-profile saline implants were placed in the subpectoral position to reposition her nipples without performing a skin lift.
This patient also had a large abdominal pannus with an upper epigastric hernia, found on an abdominal CT scan. The patient was referred to Dr. Robert Uyeda, our general surgeon, for the concurrent reconstruction of the abdominal wall with abdominoplasty and augmentation mammoplasty procedures.
The patient’s after photos show excellent contouring of the lower abdominal area. The midline vertical scar is now below the umbilicus, and the umbilicus has healed nicely.
The abdominal hernia was repaired with epigastric mesh (Marlex mesh graft reconstruction), liposculpture was performed for the iliac crest rolls, and implants were placed using the dual plane technique.
The patient is very happy with her results, showing a full C-size breast with dual plane saline augmentation mammoplasty (breast augmentation), full tummy tuck with complete skin removal, tightening of the rectus sheath, hernia repair, and sculpting of the iliac crest roll.
Case Study 3:
Patients present to my office in Beverly Hills after pregnancy, weight loss, and breastfeeding. Many of these patients have significant skin laxity that must be addressed.
This patient has severe grade 3 ptosis, and her nipples were well below the inframammary fold. She has significant lower abdominal skin laxity with stretch marks extending 3 centimeters above the belly button.
This patient underwent silicone gel augmentation using high-profile silicone implants behind the muscle with a complete mastopexy (formal breast lift) using the anchor pattern (Wise-pattern technique). She also had a full abdominoplasty with tightening of the rectus sheath and muscle.
Her post-operative results are at six weeks. While she still shows some redness of the scars around the nipple-areolar complex, the nipple positions are now placed perfectly in the central portion of the breast. She now has a natural appearance to her breast.
The patient’s abdominoplasty shows a tightening of the rectus sheath, which is still healing with scars of the umbilicus and the Pfannenstiel incision. These results show the liposuctioning of the iliac crest rolls, which smooth the hips nicely.
The patient will be maintained on Bio corneum silicone spray twice daily for six months. She has worn an abdominal binder for six weeks and will continue for another four weeks.
Her post-operative course is uneventful, and she has an excellent result for a Mommy Makeover.
Case Study 4:
I was presented with a 40-year-old female looking to undergo a Mommy Makeover. During the consultation, she wanted to have her abdomen and breasts enhanced.
She explained that after two hernia surgeries and pregnancy, her goal was to get her shape back to how she was pre-pregnancy.
After setting her expectations, we decided to perform an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), a breast lift, and 240 CC saline breast implants filled to 270 CC in the right breast and 350 CC in the left breast.
As you can see, after only six weeks post-op, the patient is looking fantastic, and I’m very pleased with her recovery.
Mommy Makeover surgery in Beverly Hills is performed in my operating room weekly. These patients should be pre-operatively evaluated by their internists, cleared for surgery for general anesthesia, and, if hernias are found, abdominal wall reconstruction should be performed concurrently with a general surgeon.
