Breast reconstruction with breast implants is a surgical procedure that helps restore the shape of your breast after mastectomy. Breast reconstruction won’t re-create the previous look and feel of your natural breast. However, the look of your new breast may restore a similar silhouette to what you had before mastectomy. 

Women considering breast reconstruction should keep a realistic expectation when anticipating the outcome of their surgery.
