I perform breast revision surgery weekly at my Beverly Hills practice. Breast revision is for women who already had breast augmentation but need their implants redone. This can be for several reasons, including complications with the scar tissue, a ruptured breast implant, double bubble deformity, or bottoming out.
Following surgery, breast revision patients are always placed on antibiotics and are recommended to wear the Dr. Linder Bra to help with compression and swelling (edema).
We will see the patient multiple times after breast revision surgery, including one day after, one week after, and two weeks after when the sutures are removed.
